Inscriptions

Our Stone Masons will tailor your memorial inscriptions to suit your precise requirements. This gives you the chance to have a fully personalised message, in the type face and finish that you prefer. Please note: this is dependant on the design of memorial that you choose.

If you already have a memorial in place and you need to add an inscription, we can help you with this process and as we are licensed by the National Association of Memorial Masons, you can be assured that you are in safe hands.

A memorial will need to be removed from a grave, in most cases, for it to be prepared for a funeral and interment. We are able to do this and look after the memorial safely at our premises until an inscription has been decided on. We can usually provide an inscription that will match the existing lettering, as most lettering these days are done by sandblast and stencil method and most fonts or lettering styles are computerised. Our Stone Masons are also trained for cutting letters by hand, an old traditional and highly skilled method.

Here at Memorials of Elegance, we understand that selecting the right memorial inscription is as daunting as selecting any memorial, which is why we are on hand to help you every step of the way and ensure the entire process is as stress free as possible.
